Alumni Events

Hello Chambers Academy Alumni!

Our Alumni Association is becoming more and more active, and we invite you to join us.  Each year at one designated home football game, we host several classes who return for our Rebel Reunion gathering.  Classes are honored upon their 10-year anniversaries.  This year we will honor the classes of 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003, and 2013.  Your class will gather prior to the game for a mini-reunion and an update on what is going on at Chambers Academy.  You will receive free admission to the game, a free meal at the concession stand, and your class will be recognized on the field at halftime.  We are always ready and eager to assist you in locating classmates and also helping you plan your next class reunion.  Please reach out to us at ca.social@chambersacademy.com.

Chambers Academy Alumni is also featured in the monthly CA Newsletter. We will convey the details of any special alumni events to everyone in a timely manner through the email list and the Newsletter. We will update our alumni on special projects that need ongoing support financially and those needing extra hands to manage events. One of the most important projects we will update will be the Chambers Academy Foundation Fundraising Project. The Board has set up a new committee to drive all fundraising activities and follow-up through an “in-house” staff. This step is meant to avoid any consulting fees and create a sustainable, grass roots capital campaign to address spending priorities as determined by your Board of Directors. If you have specific Alumni News to pass along, please email us at ca.social@chambersacademy.com! Lastly, we want to let everyone know there are ongoing conversations by the BOD and LaFayette Main Street to address the potential of the iconic Martin Theater in downtown LaFayette. We will have much more news on this key project in newsletter editions. Last but not least, we will provide updates for “Chambers Academy Sports Live” in Alumni News until a column writer for this group is secured. Currently, CA Sports Live is discussing YouTube coverage of select softball games with our Lady Rebels softball team and a group of games on YouTube for CA varsity baseball team. It’s Great to Be a CA Rebel Alum!
