Life in First Grade

Well, we helped Tom Turkey stay safe during Thanksgiving! I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. We have had a busy few weeks learning how things grow and change and learning about communities. I have seen each one of our students growing and changing into wonderful, caring individuals. Everyone is working very hard, and I am so proud of each of them. The upper grades will be presenting a Christmas program this year. We are excited to see what surprises they have in store. Brandon was our top AR reader in October. It’s another tight race for top AR reader in November.  Emmalee and Jaycee are tied this morning, and Wil is coming on strong. We are making ornaments for the Christmas tree at the courthouse. I hope you get a chance to go see it over break. We are excited to shop the Christmas Store for gifts for our families. On December 8th, we are going to the carousel and have lunch in Valley. We are ready to start our Christmas break. I hope you have a great holiday and a wonderful New Year!
