Kindergarten News

January has finished off as a busy month for the kindergarten. We are happy to have Miss LeAnna Hammer as our student teacher this year. She will be working with us until April, and we are so excited to have her join us. The students love the lessons she has with them. We have barely started back to school after Christmas, and we were hit with several snow days. The students had many stories to share about their snow days, such as building snowmen and riding or being pulled in the snow. The students thoroughly enjoyed hearing the second graders retell the story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and “Frog and Toad”. We hope they will come read again soon and bring more activities. On January 26th we counted our 100 small items brought from home, made a gumball machine with 100 gumballs, made and counted many other items and activities and enjoyed our cake and ice cream.
