Kindergarten News

September has been a busy month for the Kindergarteners. On September 8th we celebrated Grandparents’ Day. Each child presented their grandparents with a hand-painted family tree and picture. Klancy and Maddie J. have enjoyed birthdays since we have been in school. Madison B. and Maddie H. have each lost a tooth at school. How exciting for these students !!! Homecoming Week was a favorite with the students. We had a lot of participation in dressing for the daily homecoming themes. We have included some pictures we think you will enjoy. One of their favorite activities by the older students is getting their faces painted for JV and Varsity football games. In Social Studies we have been studying community leaders. The students are looking forward to a program by the LaFayette Fire Department. In math the students are learning about AB patterns, shapes, and colors. Our favorite songs are Purple Stew, the Bear Hunt Song, and Herman the Worm. AR is off to a great start! We have a classroom full of students who love to read.
